Books, Books and More Books

Reading is my thing.  I'm a creature of habit and no matter how tired I am.  I mean I can be falling-asleep-on-the-couch tired or falling-asleep-in-the-car-on-the-way-home tired, and I still have to read a few pages of a book before I can fall asleep in bed.

Here is my 2014 Book List.  I'm sure I'll add to this list as the year progresses but here's where I'm starting.

1.  The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

2.  Anything:  The Prayer that Unlocked My God and My Soul by Jennie Allen

3.  Real Learning:  Education in the Heart of the Home by Elizabeth Foss

4.  Death by Food Pyramid : How Shoddy Science, Sketchy Politics and Shady Special Interests Have Ruined Our Health by Denise Minger

5.  The In-Between:  Embracing the Tension Between Now and the Next Big Thing by Jeff Goins

6.  Bread & Wine:  A Love Letter to Life Around the Table with Recipes by Shauna Niequest

7.  Notes from a Blue Bike:  The Art of Living Intentionally in a Chaotic World by Tsh Oxenreider

8.  The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis

9.  Pursuing Justice:  The Call to Live & Die For Bigger Things by Ken Wytsma

10.  Undaunted:  Daring to Do What God Calls You to Do by Christine Caine

11.  The Growly Books: Begin by Philip and Erin Ulrich

12.  Beezus and Ramona by Beverly Cleary

Do you have any books on your 'Must Read' list for this year?  Did I miss anything?  Do you have any suggestions of books I should read?

    1. I know- right! I actually started reading that one before the New Year. I just couldn't wait. Did you see the movie?

  2. Love the variety of this list. One of my new years resolutions is to make more time for reading books and less time trolling the internet. Even if it's a chapter a day before bed, i just want to unplug more so I can be more inspired (plus I'm sure my eyesight will appreciate it! lol).

On my reading list: Seven, Interrupted, and Radical.

Thanks for sharing your list - I've definitely added some of these to my wish list too. :)

    1. Yelena- all of those are great books. I read all of them in the past 2 years or so. Radical and Interrupted are going to leave you very unsatisfied with your life- but in a good way. Just a warning. You may want to sell everything and move to Africa. Or maybe that's just me. Thanks for stopping by btw.
